I’m Marco Cardoso, Founder and Director of Finest Van, a London-based removals and storage company established in 2008.

 

My experience in the removals industry began firsthand. I urgently needed a last-minute moving service and found it difficult to secure reliable help. The service I received was overpriced and lacked professionalism. That experience exposed a clear gap in the London removals market for a company that prioritised transparency, flexibility, and genuine customer care.

 

Determined to raise the standard, I founded Finest Van as a simple man and van service. Over the past 15+ years, we have grown into a full-service removals and storage provider supporting residential and commercial clients across London.

That fragmentation increased the risk of errors and inefficiencies.

 

In 2019, I began leading the development of our own bespoke backend and booking system, working with external developers to build a platform tailored specifically to removals and storage operations. We launched it internally in 2021 and have continued to refine and evolve it ever since.
