Very speedy moving, and a friendly service.

Of all the costs involved in moving house, getting Finest Van in to handle the furniture was hands down some of the best money we spent. I shopped around, got four quotes, and ended up going with Finest Van - not only were they the lowest price, they also offered indoor storage. Other companies did push their premium services, like export wrapping all the furniture, but I asked if that was possible just for a few of the more expensive pieces and they did it, seemingly at no extra cost and to a really high standard (complete with padding under the wrap for extra protection). I wrapped some of the other bits myself, though I’m sure if I’d asked they’d have done the lot. I didn’t lift a finger on either moving-out day or when we moved into the new place six months later. It did make me feel a bit lazy, but the team clearly had a system and packed the van to the absolute brim! They were super friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The insurance for moving and storage was straightforward and reasonably priced, and I always had clear comms from the team before each monthly storage renewal was taken. I was honestly unsure before booking movers, as I'm tight and I’ve always just moved everything myself with help from friends. But to keep the stress down, we decided to get the movers in this time - and I’ll absolutely do the same again if we ever move. I’ll also be recommending Finest Van to others without a doubt. This is the second time I moved with Finest Van. I had a great experience my first time so went with them again this time and was proven right. Gabriel and Nuno were considerate and speedy and we got everything done (with >50 items to move) in 1.5 hours including the traveling! I was worried about the move due to the sets of stairs involved and the fact that I have an electric piano. I should've trusted these guys and booked a shorter slot :) (next time I'll know!).
